I loved painting this picture. I took it in Maui two years ago and since then we have had lockdowns, mask mandates and travel restrictions. This painting reminds me of the freedom of travel, the joy of sunshine and fresh air on a mask free face and the excitement of looking down a flower lined alley and wondering what I might find as I wander. Hoping we get back to that soon.
