I had a tough surgery last year and had been housebound for weeks. My cute hubby noticed that my spirits were down and  loaded in the car on a warm, winter morning and drove me around so I could take new reference shots. I got lots of images that day and this was one of the first I painted from that drive. This was actually my favorite painting from last year. The old tractor and hay bales were there. I added the chickens for interest.
